The Otago University Student Association, or OUSA, confirms that its Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 1pm. The event will take place in the Main Common Room, located next to Union Hall. If the weather is suitable, the meeting will move outside to the Union Lawn. The association is using the announcement to address a specific logistical failure from the previous cycle, noting that the last general meeting was cancelled because not enough students showed up.

OUSA states that the meeting represents a direct opportunity for students to question the organization and influence how student levy money is spent next year. The executive team describes the AGM as one of the few remaining venues where students can have a say in the association's operations and budget decisions.

The group emphasizes that OUSA spends money on behalf of students and that this money belongs to the student body. To encourage participation, the association will provide free food and other incentives. The current executive team includes Daniel, the president, and Kamesha, the administrative vice president.

Students with specific questions regarding the OUSA budget can email Troy at finance@ousa.org.nz. General inquiries about the AGM can be directed to Kamesha at adminvp@ousa.org.nz or Daniel at president@ousa.org.nz. The team also invites questions via the Instagram handle @ousaexec. The primary goal of the gathering is to allow attendees to ask questions in person and help shape the association's direction.
