The Baseball Writers' Association of America announced the finalists for its annual individual awards on Monday night. Four players and one manager from the Milwaukee Brewers made the list for the 2026 season.

Jacob Misiorowski, the Brewers' starting pitcher, is a finalist for the National League Cy Young Award. The source notes he is a heavy favorite to win the prize. His competitors in that category are Chris Sale of the Atlanta Braves and Cristopher Sánchez of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Brice Turang, the team's second baseman, is in the running for the National League MVP award. He joins Pete Crow-Armstrong of the Chicago Cubs and Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Crow-Armstrong is expected to win after batting .280 with 45 home runs and 41 stolen bases this season.

Trevor Megill, the Brewers' closer, is a candidate for the National League Relief Pitcher of the Year. This is a new category in both leagues for the current year. His competitors are Jhoan Duran of the Philadelphia Phillies and Mason Miller of the San Diego Padres.

Manager Pat Murphy is a finalist for the National League Manager of the Year award. If he wins, he will become the first manager to win the prize three times in a row. He competes against Don Mattingly of the Philadelphia Phillies and Walt Weiss of the Atlanta Braves.

The BBWAA will reveal the winners next week. The voting covers performance during the regular season. The Brewers won the World Series in 2026.

Other finalists include Yordan Alvarez of the Houston Astros for American League MVP. Junior Caminero of the Tampa Bay Rays and Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals are also in that race. Dylan Cease of Toronto, Parker Messick of Cleveland, and Cam Schlittler of the New York Yankees compete for the American League Cy Young Award.
