The Wintry Market will return to downtown Boise this month, bringing more than 100 artists to the Boise Centre West for a two-day showcase of handmade goods. The event is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 20, and Saturday, Nov. 21, and features art, craft, and design from across the Western United States.
This year’s gathering is described as the largest iteration of the market to date. Organizers have curated a selection of independent creators who will display one-of-a-kind items. The market also includes vendors selling food, coffee, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The event has received national recognition for its quality. Food & Wine magazine named the Wintry Market the best holiday bazaar in Idaho. Sunset Magazine also listed it among the best holiday events in the West.
The market will be held on the main floor of the Boise Centre West. Friday hours run from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The venue is located in the heart of the city, providing easy access for shoppers looking for unique holiday gifts.
Entry fees vary by day. A Friday ticket costs $10 and is valid for both the Friday evening session and the Saturday day session. A Saturday-only ticket costs $5. Children aged 12 and younger enter free of charge.
Tickets are available for purchase in advance or at the door. Organizers accept both cash and card payments for entry. The market positions itself as a destination for meaningful, handcrafted gifts rather than mass-produced items, aiming to connect buyers directly with the makers.
The event serves as a prelude to the winter holiday season in the Treasure Valley. By gathering a wide range of artisans in one location, the market offers a concentrated selection of local and regional design. The two-day format allows visitors to explore the extensive lineup of crafts and food options over a weekend.
