Two adjacent beachfront properties in Clearwater changed hands on October 23, 2026, closing the sale of the estate where professional wrestler Terry Gene Bollea, known as Hulk Hogan, died last year.

The larger residence, a five-bedroom Mediterranean-style mansion, sold for $5.9 million. This final price sits approximately $5.08 million below the original asking price of $10.98 million when the home first hit the market in January. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reported Thursday that the buyer of the mansion also purchased the neighboring cottage, consolidating ownership of the two lots.

The smaller property, a three-bedroom cottage that Hogan used as a guesthouse, sold for $2.8 million. Together, the two transactions totaled approximately $8.7 million. Both sales were part of the estate process following Hogan's death on July 24, 2025, at age 71.

The mansion underwent multiple price reductions during its time on the market. The asking price fell to $8.99 million, then to $7.9 million in June, and finally to $6.9 million in September before the final sale at $5.9 million. The cottage, which was originally listed for $4.5 million through Coldwell Banker Realty, also saw a substantial drop from its initial valuation.

Hogan acquired the primary residence in April 2012 for approximately $3.33 million. He expanded his holdings in 2016 by purchasing the adjacent cottage for $1.6 million. The main house features more than 5,000 square feet of living space across three stories, including a private elevator, swimming pool, spa, and chef's kitchen. The cottage adds more than 2,000 square feet of space, also equipped with a pool and spa.

Clearwater police responded to the residence on the day of Hogan's death following a report of cardiac arrest. He was transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities later attributed the death to natural causes and found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing. Hogan, born in Augusta, Georgia, spent decades in the Tampa Bay area and operated local businesses while building his career in professional wrestling.
