DSi Compliance has opened its second office in the United States, locating its new team in Wesley Chapel. The London-based firm moved into the SMARTstart @ the Grove Entrepreneur Center in Pasco County. This expansion marks the company's second American operation following its initial launch in Virginia in 2021.
The company specializes in artificial intelligence software designed for investigative work. Its platform, which combines products named DS-Keywords and DS-Investigator, scans audio recordings, video footage, and electronic documents. The software identifies specific details such as names, places, and dates relevant to cases. It also recognizes slang and dialects within audio files to help investigators process large volumes of digital evidence.
Pasco Economic Development Council facilitated the move through its SMARTLandings program. The council has already introduced DSi Compliance to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. It also connected the company with Florida’s Forensic Institute for Research, Security and Tactics, known as F1RST. These introductions aim to help the firm establish a presence in the local defense and law enforcement markets.
The location near MacDill Air Force Base places the new office close to U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command. Bradley Geppert, CEO of DSi Compliance, stated that the Pasco launch represents a major step for the organization. "Launching in Pasco is a huge step for us and marks our second office in the US," Geppert said. He added that the company is pleased to launch its first internship program in partnership with Saint Leo University.
The internship program is scheduled to begin in December. Students will receive cybersecurity training from personnel with backgrounds in the U.S. Army and law enforcement. Pasco Economic Development Council has also connected the company with Pasco-Hernando State College. This relationship supports the firm's efforts to develop ties with local workforce partners.
The October 29 announcement did not specify the number of employees DSi expects to hire in Pasco County. The statement also did not disclose the amount of capital the company plans to invest in the Wesley Chapel operation. It did not indicate whether the initial introductions to local agencies have resulted in signed contracts.
